January 7, 2012 was a special day for power couple, singer/actress Beyonce Knowles and rapper/business mogul Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter as they welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy Carter. The news sparked headlines everywhere. Little does “Princess Carter” know that she has been a trending topic since last year at the MTV Video Music Awards, when Beyonce first publicly announced the pregnancy. Late, Saturday of the birth sent Twitter in a chaotic frenzy with speculations and garbled the definite moniker provided to their child. Thus, Internet theories are pretty credible as far as the naming of the newborn. Blue – the baby’s first name may have come from being Jay-Z’s favorite hue and his compilation of Blueprint albums. Ivy - references from the Roman numeral “IV”, representing the number four. “4” holds significance to the pair being that Beyonce’s birthday is Sept. 4, while Jay-Z’s is Dec 4. Additionally, they married April 4th of 2008. No statement has been released from the duo clarifying any truth to those feasible allegations, but it's essential Blue Ivy Carter is healthy and surrounded by love. Awaiting a glimpse of Blue Ivy, despite how covert the twosome are, according to Auntie Solange she is “the most beautiful girl in the world”. Recently, Jay released a song dedicated to their bundle of joy entitled “Glory”; sealing the song with a sound of the baby’s cry.
Congrats!
