Nas Recollects Past on "Life Is Good" Cover...

By the looks of it, Nas told the truth on VH1's "Behind The Music" referencing ex-wife Kelis leaving her opulent, green wedding gown prior to divorcing. The New York-bornee, sat with a content face as he hoarded some memorabilia on the controversial cover of his 10th album, "Life is Good". The "One Mic" legend told Rap-Up, "eventually at some point" he would fathom an analysis on the artwork from his former lover. "We just put it out, so it’s still way too fresh."

Nas declares to stick to his original guns with this LP, due in July 17 and had lenders No I.D. and Salaam Remi splash some paint on the upcoming tracks. He too, recently revisited the Summer Jam stage after over a decade and brought along some support from Lauryn Hill for their 1996 collab, "If I Ruled The World".
"Life, love, joy, anger, celebration. There’s so many things you can see on that album cover. You see my life. My life is on that album cover." Raise your hand, if you would love to be a fly on the wall for that forthcoming conversation with Kelis?

Azealia Banks Is Here To Reign

Move over Harajuku Barbie, a new sheriff is in town. Hip-hop's neophyte Azealia Banks proves she is about business by reading the follow-up mixtape to "1991". The "Kuntz" (fanbase name) are pleased to know new EP "Fantasea" received a July release.

Banks blossomed overnight in the UK with another altered sound of female rap music, as Nicki Minaj was recently criticized for by Hot97. Lately, the outspoken-Interscope artist has been all booked up with performance gigs from The 2012 MET Gala to the recent SummerJam and New York's inaugural Mermaid Ball.
Harlem's native took to twitter, Big shoutout to everyone who copped the #1991EP on 5/29! I’m already on to the next project .. Well into my mixtape 'FANTASEA' out 7/4 ! Alongside the holiday music drop, is prep work for a Fall debut album, "Broke With Expensive Taste".

"One Woman Army" Expresses Vulnerability

The Georgia peach returns from the A! While promoting her comedic film "That's My Boy" at MTV, Ciara announced she will be having C-Squad "Sweat" with new single and tickets the fifth LP, as "One Woman Army".
If we can be nostalgic for a second, remember the "Ride" troubadour suffered double whammies as the last two albums plummeted. During her nearly two year hiatus, she parted ways with Jive and reunited by LA Reid for signage with new label home, Epic Records. Now, Ciara explains this project shines light for "vulnerability" and almost brought on tears during recording.
I really let my heart into this...This is almost like a journal, my own personal journal", revealed the 26-year old beauty.

The Three Stooges

Young sex symbol Chris Brown grouped his industry friends Big Sean and Wiz Khalifia to go haywire in the Los Angeles-shot visual, "Till I Die". The fellas misbehave in the comical cut featuring workplace foolery, taboo marijuana, and cameos by Snoop Dogg, Redman & Method Man. When the crooner isn't entertaining Debbie Downers, he can take a precise stab at directing monopolizing pitches. Press play for the Adam "MCA" Yauch-dedicated clip:
In fact, this third single emulates the "Look At Me Now" format, but it covets to take off in the same fashion. This week the singer has devoted miscellaneous tracks to show appreciation of his fans loyalty. Brown angles to spread the wealth on TeamBreezy with his fifth studio album, Fortune dropping July 3rd, which follows the Grammy-winning R&B Album, F.A.M.E.

"Strong Enough to Bare the Children, then get Back to Business"

The newly-Revel Resorts hotel/casino in Atlantic City transformed into the "Beyhive Sanctuary" over this past Memorial Day weekend.
For four consecutive days, Beyonce once again proved she's the "best performer alive" as hubby Jay-Z called it, after she self-creatively rendered a comeback concert prior to the birth of daughter, Blue Ivy Carter in January. The "Party" queen bey stung fans with a treat alongside her female band, medley of a double-dozen songs, and benevolent tributes to some of music's late greats. Before symphonizing "Halo", she emancipated a verse from "I Will Always Love You" for Whitney Houston and hailed Donna Summers through her "Naughty Girl" fruition.

"Y'all don't know how hard I had to work," the singer informed the thousands of attendees. "I had to lose 60 pounds. They had me on the treadmill, eating lettuce."

She brought the funk, emotion, and love.

Guest appearances by First Lady Michelle Obama, Gayle King, designer Vera Wang, Kim Kardashian, former-bandmates of Destiny's Child Kelly Rowland & Michelle Williams, comedian Kevin Hart, and many more.

Singer. Songwriter. Performer. Actress. Designer. Chart-Topper. World's Most Beautiful Woman. Forbes List-Maker. Philanthropist. Wife. Mother. The jack of all trades has her hands so tied, critics bang the gable to claim this lady, "Legend".

DWTS Finale Top Pick

Season 14 Winner: Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd

My hypothesis was on the money and that was whether a certain Green Bay Packer wide-receiver would win the mirrorball trophy. And indeed, Donald did not leave me like hangman.

From minor mishaps to wowing the judges with his clean western-feel of routines on the dance floor, the macho-muscled NFL player was determined to be #1. His charming charisma was maximizing audiences and created media buzz which surely helped him to the very top, beating out finalists William Levy and Katherine Jenkins.
"Amazing! Wow! This is awesome!” said the chipper winner after literally, rolling on the floor. Last night, Driver became the third athlete to achieve this championship. CONGRATS

Battle of the Sexes

The clock is ticking and just hours away from handing the sovereign accolade to one of the last two standing in FOX's Season 11 of "American Idol". This year's showdown with the poise-16 year old, power engine Jessica Sanchez VS the docile-handsome guitarist, Phillip Phillips will be a tough skirmish; both are insanely talented and commend the stage with their presence. However, this can go either way since, the hit-competition cut loves to rig the results. Ah, only time will tell who will be crown the next American Idol.

In other news, tattles say 1/3 from the panel may not be returning to Season 12 and that is none other than Forbes Celebrity 100, mogul "Jenny from the Block". Apparently, Ms. Busy-Boom has a bulky workload including a world tour, couple film scripts, and of course mothering Emme & Max. This lost could damage ratings being that the various-hyphenated diva, pulls all the viewers with her miraculous guise. Thus, Idol must think of a master plan to keep themselves high on the market, above these similar contest gimmicks.

Swimming in the Deep

Right off the coast of Algarrobo, Chile is the bridged-off largest and exquisite-azure pool in the world, dubbed as "The Crystal Lagoon". This humongous strip subsumes a quantity of 66 gallons of water and width wider than half a mile. Such a serene environment, wonder how long long it takes to swim across!?

Racism? France Pulls the Wrong Leads

Pretty soon, Steve Harvey's best seller novel-turned-hit film "Think Like A Man" will espy the 90 million mark at the box office. However, France is clouding that opportunity and attempting to pull the wool over society eyes, by banning the movie in relation to the casts supposed-asymmetry of "diversity". In another words, it has an all black cast and lacks actors of different race.
One, the country's dibs are inaccurate because actress Gabrielle Union's opposite played by Jerry Ferrara nor comedian, Gary Owen are of African-American descent. So, what do all the Caucausian casts in film have to show forth?
Although, the country of France does have a reputation of making a traffic stop with racial profiling. Before, screen-maker Tyler Perry's oeuvres "For Colored Girls" and "Why Did I Get Married?" too were held up from theaters, due to their roundup co-stars of color. Nevertheless, this is stereotypical and exudes the chronic idea of racism's survivial today. Blasphemy.

Yet Again, Disco Brim Lowered

The unbeatable battle with generic plagues is becoming an epidemic. England-born, Australia-raised Robin Gibb of Gee Bees threw in a towel over his competitive opponent, liver cancer and passed away at 62 years old on Sunday. His fanclub was rejuvenated to see the musician come out of a coma hoping he'd bounce back astonishingly, but were only left kaput to see him go.

Disco Queen Goes onto Glory

Aside from Billboard's ignorance to cut a tribute short, the flux tranquility in the gates of heaven must be even more angelic with an addition of 70s disco damsel, Donna Summer. RIP

Love & Life Lives Through the ROC

Word through the grapevine deemed to be false. Beef rumors shut down immediately after, original member of ROC Nation and dominating popstar Rihanna slapped a juicy kiss on her fellow label-mate, rookie Rita Ora at Jay-Z's best friend Ty Ty birthday celebration in London. No reason for the duo to break the chain and be quarrelsome, instead of shinning bright simultaneously.
Even though, the elite crew sat out the Billboard Awards, this was still a grand weekend. Kanye West and Hov's Watch The Throne tour held supremacy by invading sold-out stadiums, while Beyonce shared a pool-playing protocol clip from the vault, and Rihanna's first anticipated action-packed Blockbuster film, Battleship premiered on the big screen grossing $25.3 million, sliding in the second dugout behind "The Avengers". Illuminati sure has it's perks.

The "Bandstand" Man

The world of pioneers suffers a void from another lost marvel, as a heart attack sequestered the life of Dick Clark. He died at 82 years old in Santa Monica, California.
During his halcyon days of attending Syracuse University, he joined forces with the Delta Kappa Epsilon (Phi Gamma).
Bronxville, New York was his origin before landing a successful plateau in TV and radio.

The popular smash “American Bandstand” debuted in 1957 and was the longest-running variety show, achieving 30 years on the map. This era consisted of new beginnings as African-American and Caucasian musical acts, shared the same stage for the first time in history.
A small encyclopedia of stats and hosting gigs include game showPyramid”, production behind the American Music Awards, and the conventional, live Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special centered in Times Square. No matter where the party was happening, every year I tuned in to see ball drop at 12 o’clock. It was a bit of a tradition!
The man of three marriages and three children set the latter for others and Ryan Seacrest (American Idol), who was saddened by the loss of someone, he too called a friend. Dick Clark was a man of many endeavors and twirled in the world of entertainment.
RIP

New Life

Supernova Monica was able to juggle the liberty of recording a new album with mommy-duty and attendance of husband (Phoenix Suns player), Shannon Brown’s games. Yesterday, she released the seventh groundwork titled, "New Life" under RCA Records, which seeps the growth in her vocal competence and founding of real happiness as a married woman.

The singer cut the umbilical cord and challenges her range on “Time To Move On” and “Until It’s Gone”, but ironically the two heartbreak records don’t match her right-now feeling. Foxy lead-single, "It All Belongs To Me" adjoined by Brandy, escapes the callous companion and collects all prized possessions back including a MacBook. “Man Who Has Everything” vibes with a reggae whisk, while “Amazing” and “Without You” vulnerably expresses the joy of meeting the man who placed the ring amongst her finger. “Take A Chance” featuring poetic rapper Wale explores the hunger pain for expanding love's territory, whereas “Big Mistake” tells why the relationship in shambles has approached a stop sign. Luckily, the deluxe edition holds MEAT! Through Biggie's "Who Shot Ya" sample on "Anything", Monica searches high and low to discover the utopian chap. In "Breathe", she reluctantly calls for legroom to tamper with the bonding. "Catch Me" desires the significant other to be the backbone through the good, bad, and ugly. However, the labor does not quite give 2010’s Still Standing a run for the money, but everyone is fallible and New Life voyages in a new direction.

At this time, she is concentrating on widely promoting this project, reading the Polow Da Don-produced track “Without You” for the next single, and hawking down a tour with former-nemesis Brandy. Throughout it all, I remain a loyal fan since 1995 and will keep an eye on any tour inquiries.

Tweeting Hoaxes

Every week, social media network Twitter is red-handily posting faux deaths of celebrities, forming lots of speculation for family, friends, and fans.

Recently, tweeps felt the wrath of Nickelodeon protégé/actress KeKe Palmer, once the joke was on her. The white lie caused her sister a bucket of water (tears) and called Palmer hoping to hear her voice again. Immediately after, in rage she took to Twitter to confront pranksters and inform them the seriousness of a rumor eruption. "This twitter death bullsh*t is real out of hand, when it hurts my family???? Don't disrespect me or my family! I pray for you all and your negative energy." It has been a persistent impulse of the net to launch a hoax and kill off famous luminaries. Yesterday, singer Usher supposedly died in a fatal car crash, weeks ago comedian Eddie Murphy lost his life on a skiing trip, and two years ago actor Jaleel White was murdered, however currently competing on Dancing With the Stars. All FICTION!
Pathetically, the plethora of made-up demises doesn’t conclude there. Everything is all fun and games, until the ball is in your court.

Prominence of Bullying

Documentary-movie, "Bully" displays the vibration of maltreatment highschoolers endure thanks to their bluff, sexual orientation, etc. & what a toll it can kindle.

The time has come to nip this in the bud because millions tend to feel a blockage and take their life by committing suicide as a resolution. Two of the real-life victimized teens featured in the film, show how they didn’t let the tormenting swallow them.

An AMC spokeswoman of the theater franchise, advocates children under 17 to ogle the film, with a parental consent slip.
Things would be moronic, had the targeted crowd been inhibited to receive the important message and understand how widen, the belligerent subject has become.
The "R" has been dropped and now, Bully is unrated thus anyone can interpret, April 13.
  • GIVEN FACT: Ones who bully, camouflage rich insecurities.

MUSIC: Roman Resurfaces.

The multi-hued wigs, bubbly alter egos, and animated costumes keep everyone on surveillance, when bargaining with first lady of Lil Wayne’s Young Money bunch, rapper Nicki Minaj.

The life-sized Barbie has reached climaxes, other women of Hip Hop hallucinate. Her commercial debut album, Pink Friday saw platinum success, produced chart-topping singles and earned two Grammy nominations. Here, Nicki is grooming for another round as the sophomore cylinder, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded means on hitting racks, April 3rd.

The 19-song disc holds appearances by Chris Brown, Nas, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and more with leading singles, "Stupid Hoe" and "Starships". Fans will have a chance to dive into a slice of every genre within PF:RR. Given that, Nicki is the solitary chaperon of the female lyricist class, rivalry couldn't jinx her second LP sales.

Meanwhile, a world tour is ready to kick off, alongside her new multimillion contract with Pepsi. MAC & OPI endorsements are next-door continuously surging and it is clear, this successful Trinidadian leaves no indication of slamming on the brakes. Though, when Benjamin Franklin is your best friend, who would?

Inequity Overrules Equality...Again

Sporadically, racism skates betwixt the nation and now, in the notorious case of 17-year old Trayvon Martin, protesters are soliciting for justice.

The African-American boy was struck and killed by George Zimmerman, after neighborhood crime watch called in about observing suspicious activity. During this call, an alleged racial slur was passed by Zimmerman. Obnoxiously, the hoodie Trayvon wore, was the omen of uncertaintyHe was simply on foot in a Sanford, FL gated community carrying a bag of skittles and iced tea, to pay his father visitation.
The rally pandemonium of the Million Hoodie March reached a peak and petition for an arrest in the murder. "We want justice!" reads on their billboards. Later, the news unfolded the 911 call, illustrating Trayvon was helplessly calling for abetment. To add insult to injury, the eyewitnesses word was not valuable to police officials.

His mother appeared lachrymose saying, "He's just a baby! But he's my baby!" The poor teenager was in his prime and fumbled under graduation.

Zimmerman is currently a free man and ostracized himself from the mayhem. Reportedly, this awful tragedy was not the first blotch on his criminal background. It's in his best bet to continue blanketing himself, before a random civilian grabs hold of him.

The irony in justice being the dying breed contrary to injustice, vexes everyone. Almost

Copycat "X's" Minor

A jamboree mimics the galloped house party of the century thrown in film “Project X”, but spirals out of control finishing with a teen dead.
Some paint the portrait as "fun and epic", and others now sting it as "treacherous".

Since, moviegoers were amazed with the ostentatious jam-packed bash, many over the country attempted duplicates to impersonate an “identical twin". A Houston native let the cat out the bag when word scattered over a social network, riding the planned gathering. It only takes one and later, a herd of approximately 500-1000 youngsters hastened to smear the guest list. After a huge disturbance, police arrived at the overloaded setting to end the festivities and while departing, things turned ugly. Reportedly, fights emitted and the violence transferred to a raucous bullet, shot at the cranium.
Gunfire empowered in the streets and clasped the early life of a teenaged boy.

The house got pretty full. You could barely move around", claims Daniel Menjivara (an attendee of the party). He appeared ambivalent of joining, as he belonged to a discrete age loop.

The director Nima Nourizadeh guilty for Project X spoke out uttering, "It's an R-rated movie. It all depends on the individual whether you take inspiration from it."
AMEN! I cannot concur more with her testimonial! Things may look fun, but the "eye" is sometimes betrayal.

In terms of endearment, prior to the movie beginning, was there not a “What you are about to watch, should not be tried at home” message? A small technicality can do so much. Or not!

Rated R

RihannaA dominatrix washing up perplex attire, mingling sundry styles of fashion.

When consulting with the singer, a war contracts as "street chic" meets "emo-tomboy" regarding self-reflection.

The stifling belle typically bathes in a sturdy loud instrument, like this black overtly macroscopic sweater of the boob-age region. The scarlet-lip, timberland boots, and unkempt jeans sandwiched are unlikely entwined or sought after by your average female entertainer. Only, a bantam, unapologetic whiz can activate such intensity without sketching much energy.

Skin morally hints to be the bulls eye and her armchair. Every ocular side street catwalk must overwhelm the inescapable paparazzi, seeing as there’s never a tale of what to dream. The “S&M” hardcore live wire is certified badass.

Misleading "Looks"

Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti, Jessica Simpson, Alexander McQueen, etc. each encompass lurid shoe lines with slopes on heels that ruin the imaging of the foot and Achilles tendon.

The “public eye” can be bewildering, when women mull over objects this exquisite standing before them.

Today, an expert guest-starred on “The View”, to lecture on how wearing despicably-inclined stilettos damage and convey to a welter of disjointed uproars like a pump-bump, hammertoe, and bunions. My dearest friend pivots towards 5 to 6-inch high heels and her closet is sickening with these death-defying features. I love it, personally! Nowadays, appearance is everything and confides a "beacon of confidence". Luckily, men don't have to endure this unattractive exterior.

One thing I cannot bare is ugly feet!
These pictures by a limb miss glamour, though informative to those who don't want to heave looking at their future foot formality.

So-Long Brave-Hearts.

My surrounding ambiance is gloomy because after 8 hazy engrossing seasons, the four “Desperate Housewives” residing on Wisteria Lane are saying goodbye. Producer, Mark Cherry knows unerringly how to exit with a bang, literally.

The 7th season welcomed a fresh neighbor Renee Perry (Vanessa Williams) and wrapped when the flashy, Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) childhood former molester/stepfather felt duty-bound to finish where he left off. Later, her husband Carlos finished the man with a metal house compliance to the dome. With help of the courageous Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman), altruistic Susan Delfino (Terri Hatcher), and enigmatic Bree Van de Kamp (Marcia Cross), the evidence was eclipsed. Or so they think! First the body was buried in close proximity and later reoriented to a construction site. Only the four brave hearts and spouses were attentive of the monocrat's remains. Question is: how lengthy will their secret linger as a secret?
Meanwhile, last night was tear-jerking to watch Mike Delfino (Susan’s husband/James Denton) die subsequent to seizing a bullet through the chest during a concise drive-by. Also, noisy and elderly friend on the lane, Karen McCluskey disclosed her cancer pickle and Tom (Lynette's possible soon-to-be ex-husband) goes halves on a home with new girlfriend. Here, with only five episodes left viewers are on the brink of their seats marveling whether the police will bare the cold case crime. Every Sunday loyally, my brother and I fix our eyes on the flaring events and what information comes to light on that wild street.

There is no telling of whom on the ABC series conceivably might roll into town, need a hospital bed/supplement memorial service, divorce, or confront jail time! As routinely, someone is in and then out
